A text-art workshop for little pictures.
Every space is part of the drawing. Take your time; the original stays safe.

Edit a text picture without treating its spaces as clutter
A workshop for text you already have
Text-art Workshop lets you edit a character picture while keeping its rows and indentation visible. Open a design from the text-art library, a themed pack or a saved custom item, or work from the editor’s starting text. The source is preserved as a reset point for this session. This is an editor for plain text, not an image upload converter or drawing-recognition service. It does not infer where a cat’s ears or a bow’s loops should be. You decide what to change, and the literal preview helps you compare the result. Small deliberate edits are easier to understand than rebuilding a large design all at once.
Keep a consistent origin for the rows
The picture preview is left aligned so leading spaces remain visible relative to a common edge. Centering every line independently would change the shape of an asymmetric design. The monospace editor makes ordinary character widths more predictable, though Unicode symbols can still render differently across fonts. Preserve the indentation until you understand what it does. A blank-looking Braille character may be part of a dot composition, while an ordinary space may separate objects. Removing either can shift the picture. Compare a changed row with the rows above and below it, and use Undo when a small replacement has a larger effect than you expected.
Change the preview without changing the copied text
Display-size and background controls help you inspect the design in another view. They do not scale an image, insert extra spaces or rewrite the underlying string. A smaller preview can make a wide scene easier to inspect, while a light or dark background can reveal a mark that was difficult to see. Copy still uses the exact editor text. The tool applies bounded length and line limits so an invalid or oversized record cannot quietly enter the saved library. If you hit a limit, simplify the picture or keep it in an external text editor rather than assuming the preview setting changes the allowed content.
Choose plain text or a code-block wrapper
Copy text writes only the picture. Copy for a code block wraps the same text in a fence that does not collide with backticks already in the design. Use that option only if the receiving app understands the formatting. Otherwise, the fence may appear as extra visible text rather than a formatted block. Some messaging apps use their own syntax, and others collapse repeated spaces regardless of how carefully you copied. Paste into a draft first, inspect the rows and choose the format that the destination actually supports. Clipboard success confirms a text write, not a universal guarantee of alignment in every app.
Use recovery controls before saving a custom version
Undo returns the previous editor text, while Reset returns to the starting source. Those controls are useful for comparing a label change, altered prop or adjusted row of spacing. The public design remains unchanged throughout your experiment. Save on this device stores your explicit custom version with a name and optional personal collection. Repeated exact text of the same kind is deduplicated rather than creating a new item every time you press Save. If another tab changes collections, the choice list updates without reloading your unsaved picture. A deleted selected group falls back to Unsorted creations so the editor can keep working safely.
Check the finished picture and protect meaningful drafts
Inspect the actual pasted design on the device or app where you plan to use it. A narrow field can wrap a row; a missing glyph can leave a box; a proportional font can move an edge. If the destination cannot preserve the layout, choose a smaller picture or a one-line kaomoji. Keep meaningful custom designs in a private backup because browser storage can be cleared or blocked. Saved can export creative records and review a bounded JSON merge on another browser. Access to the editor does not grant blanket rights to republish source artwork or a whole catalog. Ask about a design’s source if you need a use beyond ordinary personal copying.

A few things you might wonder
Does preview size alter the text I copy?
No. Size and background are view controls. Both copy actions use the exact editor string, including its spaces and line breaks.
Will Copy for a code block work in every app?
No. It adds a collision-safe fence for apps that support that syntax. Preview in the destination; unsupported apps may show the fence as ordinary text.
Can I turn a photo into Braille art here?
No. This workshop edits existing text. Image upload and automatic conversion are outside this version.
